These terms apply to the ByteWish Foundation website at bytewish.work. Our software application is a separate service with its own terms and accounts; nothing here governs your use of that app.

You may read, link to, and share this site freely. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, misuse it, or access it in ways that break the law.

The text and original graphics on this site belong to ByteWish Foundation. You may quote and link to them with attribution. The ByteWish name and logo are covered by our trademark guidelines.

Text messages

ByteWish Foundation sends and receives text messages at +1 (605) 910‑7179. These terms cover that messaging program.

  • What we send. One-to-one replies from a person about software support, Form 990-PF requests, donation receipts, and general questions. We send no marketing, no promotional offers, and no automated messages.
  • How you opt in. You text us first, or you give us your mobile number and ask us to reply that way. We never text a number we obtained any other way, and we do not buy, rent, or import phone lists.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies. Because every message is part of a conversation you started, you receive messages only while that conversation is open, and there is no recurring or scheduled message series.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply. ByteWish Foundation charges nothing for text messages.
  • How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message at any time and we will send no further messages to that number. You may also ask us to stop by emailing [email protected] or calling the number above. Reply START to begin again.
  • How to get help. Reply HELP to any message for contact information.
  • Customer care. Email [email protected], call +1 (605) 910‑7179, or write to ByteWish Foundation, 508 W 5th Street, Canton, SD 57013-1626. A person reads every message.
  • Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your information. Our privacy statement explains what we do with your mobile number. Mobile information and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties.

Donations

Donations are handled by our payment processor and are governed by the terms shown at the time of your gift. Our tax status and deductibility are described on the financials page.
